I am a security engineer in Wolverhampton. I came to the UK from Nepal for a master’s in cyber security and stayed to build things that were missing on both sides of that journey.

My record is short and steep, and I would rather state that plainly than dress it up. I finished the MSc in 2024. I published my first open-source security tool that December. I co-founded Cyber Heroez CIC in July 2025. I wrote the first line of Bardibas RetailOS on 19 December 2025, and Nepal’s tax authority certified it four months later.

Most of my work sits at the point where software meets an obligation — a tax authority that must acknowledge every invoice, a law that dictates which country your database may sit in, a school accountable for online safety. Systems like that are unforgiving in a way I find clarifying: either the invoice was acknowledged or it was not. There is no partial credit, which means there is no room for the kind of engineering that only looks correct.

I built Cyber Heroez as a community interest company rather than a startup because the audiences that need this most — families, schools, older adults, small firms — are the ones commercial security has priced out. Bardibas RetailOS I build alone, and every commit in it is mine.

I write about what my systems get wrong as readily as what they get right. In security work, the person who tells you the limitations is the one worth listening to.
