    Invited to speak — SPEED Entrepreneur Panel

    Invited by the University of Wolverhampton's SPEED programme to sit on its entrepreneur panel alongside founders from nine other ventures, speaking to 50+ business school students on pitching, idea generation and building an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • March 2026

    Named in The Refract Foundation's account of Campfire Birmingham

    The Refract Foundation published a write-up of Campfire Birmingham, a student-led game jam run with HackUK, naming me as one of two in-person mentors and concluding that Cyber Heroez CIC's involvement was "central to the success" of the event. Six teams shipped completed games; for many participants it was their first finished software project. In fairness: the piece was written by Oliver Potter, who runs programmes at Refract and whom we mentor — so it is a collaborator's account rather than an arm's-length one.

    Every commit from the first (19 December 2025) to the present is mine, across 71+ merged pull requests, in a GitHub organisation I own. Corroborated by a director's letter from the company.

    Listed in Nepal's national electronic billing software register

    Bardibas Retail OS appears in the Inland Revenue Department register that every VAT-registered business in Nepal selects from when registering its billing system — listed as "Bardibas Retail OS (2026.04.1) – 8301540", alongside established commercial vendors. Certified for live CBMS invoice transmission.

  • April 2026

    Statutory data-residency compliance — Directive 2074

    Nepal's Electronic Billing Directive 2074 (amended 2076/09/09) requires the central server of a cloud billing system to be located inside Nepal with IRD access. I re-architected the platform onto self-hosted PostgreSQL in Nepal to comply; production cutover 14 April 2026.

    Reported a rule-coverage gap for unsafe machine-learning model deserialisation to the Semgrep project.
